We offer six modules available online at no cost to your non-profit organization:
- Module 1 – Policy, Procedures and Legislation
- Module 2 – Fire Safety Plans
- Module 3 – Fire Drills
- Module 4 – Emergency Response
- Module 5 – Staff Inspections and Testing
- Module 6 – Contractor Inspections, Maintenance and Testing
How to apply
To access the eLearning modules and materials, send an email to [email protected] with a request for the Fire Safety training. This should include your full name and the non-profit organization you work for. Please allow 5 business days to process your training request.
After we confirm your eligibility, you must complete an External Learner Access Request Form. Once this step is complete, you will:
- Receive confirmation that your External Learning Account(s) is set up;
- Sign in using your user ID and temporary password; and
- Set a new password.
You will have access to the Fire Safety online training for 90-days.

BC Housing is collecting your personal information for the purpose of enrolling you in courses offered through our Enterprise Learning Management System. We will also keep records of the courses you took and whether you passed or failed. The information will be shared with your employer.
