E-newsletter on breaking the cycle of homelessness
Vancouver Housing Update is an e-newsletter collaboration between the Vancouver Community Non-Profit Partners that work with BC Housing on breaking the cycle of homelessness. These community partners operate the Single Room Occupancy Hotels (SROs) owned by the provincial government, deliver the Homeless Outreach Program, and/or provide emergency shelter in Vancouver. Enhanced Rental Assistance Program
The Province is expanding the Rental Assistance Program as of April 1, 2008, to make more families eligible for increased financial assistance. Part of the enhancement includes an increase in the maximum household income level to $35,000 and an increase in the maximum rent ceilings. Click here to visit the website .
