Types of Work – Job Families

BC Housing delivers in its mission through the work conducted in following areas or “Job Families”:

Tenant Services
Providing direct support to our tenants and communities, including health services, tenant support and community liaison.

Property Management
Taking care of a range of buildings and properties owned by BC Housing, including groundskeeping, janitorial work, building management and property management. Information on Building Manager jobs.

Regulatory Services
Administering BC Housing’s responsibilities under the Homeowner Protection Act. Functions include licensing residential builders, providing customer service to licensees and homeowners, and conducting enforcement activities.

Central Services
Touching all parts of the organization, this job family encompasses a range of disciplines from finance, lending, legal, to human resources and communications.

Building Technology and Development
Applying project management expertise and leading-edge green technology to retrofit, maintain and "adapt to need" our directly-managed housing portfolio. Also leads the development and construction process for all new construction of non-profit housing. Information on Project Technologist jobs.

Information Technology
Providing a range of IT services and support across the organization as well developing and implementing new applications, procedures and systems. Information on IT jobs.

Admin/Clerical Services
