Social Events

The people at BC Housing are a social set unto themselves, and the enjoyment our people get from our work is underscored by their appreciation of each other.

Social activities together are an important part of the organization’s culture. For that reason, BC Housing provides funding for the Social Club to deliver at least two main events every year - the Summer Family BBQ and the end of year party. The Social Club fundraises for other events hosted throughout the year, which have in the past included softball tournaments, barbeques, Halloween costume contests and Christmas parties.

The Social Club also organize hiking trips, volleyball games, kayaking tours, and other outdoor activities and are also open to new ideas from staff.
