Partnership example
A public-private partnership model is used to create all new
subsidized housing. Developments are designed and built by the
private sector, and owned and managed by private, non-profit or
co-operative housing providers.
During the development phase, BC Housing acts as a facilitator,
and when the development is complete, often subsidizes ongoing
operations and monitors
performance.
