Eligibility criteria for charitable organizations
Each year BC Housing employees choose up to six charities that
fulfill the following eligibility criteria:

Align with BC Housing’s purpose and long-term goals

Engage and involve employees
-
Be located in communities where BC Housing operates
-
Provide opportunities for public education and engagement

Have the organizational mandate and capacity to partner with BC Housing
Organizations that have already received funding from BC Housing
are eligible for Community Connections, provided their donation
request relates to social service and not housing-related
initiatives.

The following types of charitable organizations are not eligible for participation in the Community Connections program:

Partisan organizations

Fraternal organizations

For-profit organizations

Organizations outside of British Columbia

Religious affiliated groups that do not provide social services

Private elementary or secondary schools (fee based)
