Federal - Provincial agreements
The Province of British Columbia, through BC
Housing, and the Government of Canada, through Canada Mortgage and
Housing Corporation, partner together to help address housing needs
across the province.
The three housing agreements between the province
and the federal government are:

Canada - BC Investment in Affordable Housing
In July 2011, an agreement was announced to help create more affordable housing options and continue to reduce the number of households in housing need. More information. -
Canada - BC Social Housing Agreement
On June 19, 2006, a social housing agreement was signed to transfer the administration of 51,600 units to the Province of British Columbia. More information. -
