Ministry of Energy, Mines and Natural Gas and Responsible for
Housing.
We report through a
Board of Commissioners
appointed by the Lieutenant-Governor.

is the
Minister Responsible for Housing.
The Board of Commissioners sets the strategic directions for the
organization, in cooperation with senior management, and ensures
that BC Housing’s business is the
government’s housing priorities.

The Government's Letter of Expectations is a letter of agreement between the Minister Responsible for Housing and the Chair of the British Columbia Housing Management Commission that defines the respective roles and responsibilities of both the Ministry and BC Housing, and serves as an agreement on the corporate mandate, including high-level performance expectations, public policy issues and strategic priorities. Standards of Conduct Policy
BC Housing has a Standards of Conduct Policy for the Board of Commissioners and Employees of BC Housing to maintain and enhance the public’s trust and confidence. The Code and standards contained in it apply to all Commissioners, employees, contractors, service providers and volunteers who in the course of their duties would be expected at all times to adhere to the standards of the policy.

Employees and Commissioners, in the conduct of their duties must be
exemplary.
