Building Maintenance

Keeping your property well maintained and looking its best enhances the quality of your tenants' housing. Everyone will benefit if your tenants live in a home that is well cared-for, something that they will be proud to call home, and which will reflect positively on your organization and its role in the neighbourhood.

Your organization will want to do the things that will maintain your property so that you won't have serious repair problems in the future:

  • Regular maintenance -  all building components can be made to last longer if you take care of them - in order words, if you have a preventative maintenance plan in place.
  • Safety of your tenants - make sure that your property and building is free of hazards. Be sure to take care of any problems right away.
  • Regular inspections -  let you spot small problems and take care of them before they become big and expensive.
  • Regular unit inspections -  allow you to plan for future repairs and take care of any repairs that are needed without delay.
