For women (with or without dependent children) at risk of violence, the options listed below can help to connect with shelter, housing and support services.|

Safe temporary shelter/housing, crisis intervention and

| Emergency Shelter | Immediate temporary shelter, food and a variety of services |

| Supportive Housing Registration Service | Long-term supportive housing for individuals requiring support services to achieve successful tenancies |
|
|
| Subsidized housing | Long-term housing with rent geared to income. Applicants who are fleeing domestic violence or abuse, are homeless, or who have a serious health condition that is affected by their current housing, may elect to have a Supplemental Application Form completed by a third-party verifier as some housing providers give additional consideration to applicants who meet these criteria. |
